I think we all saw from the Obama presidential campaign just how powerful it can be. So it is something I plan to use to the maximum in organizing in the 21st Ward. But you are right, not everyone is on online. And so, just as I did in my last two campaigns (for committeeman in August '08 and alderman in March of this year), much of what we do will be through phone and door-to-door outreach -- especially this summer. But one of the best ways to get information out into the community is through informed surrogates -- people like you, who are online and do stay up-to-date with what's going on through this website and my Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook activity. You and people like you are the ones other people on the block come to for information. And so through the Internet I can give daily updates to a few hundred influential people in the ward who will then disseminate that information throughout the neighborhood. And yes, I do check my email myself. And like my phone calls, I try to reply to each of them within a reasonable amount of time. Thanks for posting a comment. Also you must consider the fact that there are probably many people in this Ward that do not have computers. How do you plan to disseminate information to them?
