To discuss Resolution 239, apprvoed February 1, 2019, which directs the Board of Aldermen Legislation Committee to convene hearings to investigate the recent allegations made against S.L.A.T.E.regarding misuse of public funds, unethical and illicit employment practices, and prohibited political campaign interventions, as well as the circumstances surrounding these allegations. Resolution 239 authorizes the Legislation Committee to take such actions within its power, including the exercise of its subpoena power, as it may deem necessary for the thorough investiations of said alleations.
