Community Women Against Hardship provides personalized programs and services to help families become more self-sufficient. Joining us today is co-founder, Gloria Taylor and one of the vendors participating in the annual walk from Siteman Cancer Center and Washington University School of Medicine, Kia Davis.
Community Women Against Hardship is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to providing personalised programs and services to enable families struggling with poverty to learn self-sufficiency. They offer a variety of developmental classes, workshops and events for both parents and students. The Community Women Against Hardship’s Walk for Life Walk a Thon takes place on May 16; registration begins at 8am. You can choose to participate in a 1, 3 or 5k walk / run which is non-competitive.
