Notice: Because of the Global Pandemic declared on March 11, 2020, and subsequent Federal, State and Local Public Health Orders, for the protection of the public and in keeping with CDC guidelines, meetings will be restricted to no more than 10 persons maintaining a distance of 6 feet apart. Meeting of the City of St. Louis Board of Estimate and Apportionment to vote out the fiscal year 2021 Annual Operating Plan (the “budget”). The Mayor, Comptroller, and President of the Board of Aldermen form the Board of E and A, which is the city’s executive branch of government and approves all city real estate purchases, appropriations and the city’s annual operating budget.

The Board of Estimate and Apportionment regularly meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in the Mayor’s Board Room, located in Room 200 of City Hall. A meeting notice is posted a day prior to each meeting; this notice incudes a tentative agenda of the meeting.

This video is the result of a law passed in 2016 by 21st Ward Alderman Antonio French. The historic “Transparency in Government Law” requires all public meetings of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen; the Board of Estimate & Apportionment; the Board of Public Service; and the Preservation Board be recorded and made available on an official City of St. Louis YouTube channel.
