On this episode, Angella Sharpe catches up with Joel PE King, an actor, writer, producer and director from East St. Louis to talk about his latest body of work, “W.A.T.Ch.” This timely short film is focused around racial and social issues and King is currently working to expand it to a mini-series.
Also in the mix are an update on the St. Louis Cardinals and their plans to use cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands. The Shakespeare Festival’s new socially distanced self-guided tour titled, “A Late Summer’s Night Stroll” taking place in Forest Park. The URB Arts Poetry Slam Team brought St. Louis another championship by winning for the second year in a row! Rung for Women is opening a new women’s empowerment facility to help women achieve success in society.
