This week, Angella is joined by April Haskins to talk about her company, Midwest Dementia Connection. April founded this company to help families cope when a loved one is diagnosed with dementia. She also does consulting even before there is a dementia diagnosis to take the stress off of families by teaching them about techniques to assist their loved one.
Also in the Mix: A look at St. Louis Comptroller Darlene Green’s initiative to fund additional absentee voting locations in St. Louis. The Taste of Ferguson will offer a way to keep the food festival alive during COVID with to-go sample boxes. The Saint Louis Zoo is welcoming a new baby Chimpanzee soon! Orthopedics Associates has added a new Injury Access Clinic to treat those with acute bone, joint and muscle injuries without an appointment. St. Louis TV personality Art Holliday will host a virtual Rock N’ Roll trivia night with proceeds going to benefit a documentary about legendary musician Johnnie Johnson.
