Angella Sharpe visits Shark Canyon at the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station to see some of the newest features for guests to enjoy. First she talks to Erin Clark, Director of Animal Projects, about the new behind-the-scenes rope bridge. Then Caroline Emch-wei, Dive Safety Officer, talks about the interactive Dive Show. Finally, Aaron Sprowl, General Curator, talks about feeding the animals.
Angella begins with a story on the cancelled National Night Out event. Then St. Louis Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed talk about proposing new legislation to provide reward money for crime tips. City residents can nominate an abandoned home for improvement with the Prop NS Program. Trojan Park in Wellston is the 2020 winner for the Urban Open Space award. While The Great Forest Park Balloon Race was altered this year to tribute flights, the sponsor, PNC Bank, is running a donation campaign to benefit The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis through September.
