This Board Bill authorizes a Lease Agreement with the City of St. Louis and SCF Lewis and Clark Fleeting LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, for a period of five (5) years with four (4) five (5) year mutual options for the purpose of anchorage and mooring of barges and other vessels at an annual base rent $59,082.36 on the Unimproved Wharf of the City of St. Louis beginning at a point in a line parallel to the eastward prolongation of the north line of Saint George Street and being a perpendicular distance of 46 feet northerly thereof and extending southwardly along said wharf approximately nine hundred fifteen (915) feet therefrom and also seventy three feet (73’) of mooring starting at a point five hundred forty three feet (543’) south of the eastward prolongation of the south line of Victor Street (60’ feet wide) and extending southward therefrom approximately Seventy Three Feet (73’). This Board Bill terminates a lease agreement authorized by Ordinance No. 66625 with Eagle Marine Industries, Inc. for a drydock on the land and mooring described below, and authorizes a new Lease Agreement with the City of St. Louis and SCF Lewis and Clark Terminals LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, for a period of ten (10) years with three (3) five (5) year mutual options for the purpose of anchorage and use of drydock-related work barges and for the mooring of barges and other vessels in need of or undergoing repair and the use of the service area for related parking of vehicles, equipment, and storage trailers in support of the drydock operations at an annual base rent of $25,985.04 with a 2% annual escalator for the first ten (10) years on the Unimproved Public Wharf; extending northward form the eastern prolongation of the center line of Lesperance Street to the eastern prolongation of the north line of Lafayette Avenue, the distance between said points being Seven Hundred Eighty (780’) Feet, and including a service area of approximately Two Hundred Fifty (250’) Feet going northward from the prolongation of the south line of Lafayette Avenue by the distance between Twenty Five (25’) Feet east of the floodwall to the river (variable width). This Board Bill amends Ordinance No. 69381 which authorized a Lease Agreement with the City of St. Louis and Metropolitan Park and Recreation District d/b/a Great Rivers Greenway District, approving a First Amendment to Lease Agreement for a temporary reduction of the land and improvements (“Relinquished Space”) in order that the City may lease or permit the Relinquished Space to Walsh Construction Company (“Walsh”) for Walsh to rebuild the Merchants Bridge owned by Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis. Once Walsh has completed the rebuilding, the First Amendment shall automatically terminate. Collapse

The lease sets the rent at $53,895.00 annually and increases the same from originally $27,604.76 and currently $32,862.81. Collapse

This Board Bill amends Ordinance No. 68574 which authorized a Lease Agreement with the City of St. Louis and Lewis & Clark Marine Inc., as Assignor to SCF Lewis & Clark Terminals LLC, a Delaware corporation, approving a First Amendment to Lease Agreement for certain lands at or near Tyler Street for five (5) years with two (2) five (5) year options. The lease sets the base rent at $36,677.06 annually with adjustments as set forth in Exhibit A to the original Lease Agreement. Collapse
