Board Bills
Board Bill Number 114
Introduced by President Lewis E Reed, Alderman John Collins-Muhammad, Alderman Joseph Vaccaro, Alderwoman Shameem Clark Hubbard

The purpose of the proposed board bill is to establish the Justice for St. Louis Families Fund which will provide funding for cash rewards for tips and leads that ultimately end in the arrest of anyone for the crime of murder in St. Louis. The fund will be used to give $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of anyone for the crime of murder in St. Louis. The fund will also award $15,000 for the arrest and capture of anyone for the crime of murder in St. Louis when the victim is a child under the age of 17. The impact to the community is to provide information to law enforcement officials so that they can ultimately arrest suspects for the crime of murder in the City and solve open homicide cases Collapse
