On this episode of Ask Dr. Echols, Dr. Echols answers questions about COVID-19 and Halloween. Many residents are concerned about being safe during halloween events. Here are the questions asked this week:
Danny from the Baden Neighborhood asked, “Halloween this year is going to be very different than years past for my children, what do you recommend I do to prepare my children for this different experience?”
Pat from Mark Twain Neighborhood asked, “Our family is planning on participating in a hayride on Halloween, does the Department of Health have any health and safety tips for this type of activity during the coronavirus pandemic?
Chante from McKinely Heights Neighborhood asked, “What should I do if I attend a Halloween event and I later have flu like symptoms or start feeling ill in other ways?”
Caleb from Carr Square Neighborhood asked, “I’ll be hosting a Halloween party for a small group of children, what should I do if I am notified by one of the parents of children that they or their child have symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19?
