Board Bills
Board Bill Number 97
Introduced by Alderwoman Christine Ingrassia

The proposed Board Bill relates to the City of St. Louis’ response to people who are unhoused and living on public property. It would set standards and procedures for remedying unsafe conditions and protecting the rights and property of unhoused individuals.

Board Bill Number 150
Introduced by Alderwoman Vicky Grass

The proposed bill would amend Ordinance 70932, which defines “recreational fire” and establishes requirements for their location, by changing the minimum distance a recreational fire must be located away from a structure from twenty-five (25) feet to twelve (12) feet.

Board Bill Number 152
Introduced by Alderwoman Christine Ingrassia, Alderwoman Annie Rice

The proposed bill would amend Ordinance 70624, which concerns illegal evictions, to add a section to provide an enforcement mechanism which authorizes the City of St. Louis Sheriff and Sheriff’s Deputies to enforce the provisions of Ordinance 70624. To this end, and pursuant to the authority granted the Board under Section 57.01 of the RSMO, the bill directs the Division of Police to enter into an agreement with the Sheriff to allow the Sheriff to enforce the provisions of Ordinance 70624.
